Management Ultimate Solution, Inc. (MUS), a privately held corporation, was founded in June 1995, by a team of young professionals from the Financial and the Information Technology fields. Drawing on their experience in their respective fields, they recognized an unfulfilled need: As businesses enter the Global Village it can no longer afford to separate their management, financial, and technical functions. Expanding technology and market pressures mandate integrating these previously autonomous operations. MUS believes that in today’s chaotic marketplace, successful integration is the key to business growth and economic stability. Further, businesses need quick access to critical information in order to maintain a competitive edge and to capitalize on opportunities while keeping their operating costs low. MUS believes that the prudent application of technology and management concepts can fulfill this need.
MUS has two rapidly expanding focus areas - a consulting practice and a software development focus area. As consultants, we focus on management and technology. As software developers, we identify areas that can benefit from applied Information Technology and then develop and market innovative solutions to meet that need. Rajiv Mahajan, our President and Chief Executive Officer embodies MUS’ synthesis of industry specific experience, professional financial certification, and advanced technical abilities. As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Mahajan has held increasingly responsible positions in the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (NSCSA), one of the largest shipping concerns in the world. Starting out with them as a clerk, he rose to become NSCSA’s MIS & Financial Controller, instrumental in expanding the company’s North American operations. Since his responsibilities included all corporate financial activities, documentation, cost accounting, and tax matters, Mr. Mahajan gained an intimate knowledge of the entire shipping industry.
Mr. Mahajan also holds a Masters Degree in Accounting and has extensive experience in designing and implementing complex systems to analyze shipping data.
Shalini Gupta, our Financial Controller, is a Certified Public Accountant. Before joining MUS, she was the Manager, Taxation, for A. F. Ferguson & Company, the partners to KPMG Peat Marwick in India. Ms. Gupta possesses an in depth knowledge of financial practices, cost and budget analysis, and tax issues.
Vivek Garg, based at India looking after our Indian operations. Mr. Garg has a vast experience of Indian corporate workings at various levels. His areas of specialization include MIS and have developed a total product around this idea.
Seema Gupta, is our Market Analyst. Ms. Gupta specializes in Market Research Techniques as well as Client/Server Technologies. Before joining MUS, Ms. Gupta was System Analyst with NIIT Ltd. a business partner of Microsoft at New Delhi, India. Ms. Gupta also has experience in the field of International Business. She has also been an academician teaching at prestigious Management Institutes at New Delhi, India.
